Performance at the ACB’s 2019 National Convention

The DCB is overjoyed that we have been selected as one of six performance bands for the Association of Concert Bands’ (ACB) annual convention, to be held in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, April 24-28, 2019.
The Association of Concert Bands (ACB) is an international organization that fosters “excellence in Concert Band music through performance, education, and advocacy.” The ACB’s annual convention moves coast to coast, providing opportunities for community musical performers, bands, composers, and conductors. As part of their annual convention, the ACB selects six performance bands to entertain the convention attendees. Only six of the best that apply are selected. The Downriver Community Band has been a member of the ACB for over 10 years.
